Cancellation Policy Effective 7/20/26

We understand that plans can change, and we appreciate as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel your Historic Matewan Walking Tour reservation. If you need to cancel, please contact us at least 12 hours before your scheduled tour whenever possible. Cancellations can be made by messaging our Historic Matewan Walking Tours Facebook page, contacting us directly through our provided phone number, or using any other available contact method listed on our website. A response letting us know that you cannot attend is greatly appreciated and helps us provide the best experience possible for all guests.

Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled tour without prior notice will be considered a no-show. No-shows who have paid in advance will be refunded.

Historic Matewan Walking Tours operates rain or shine. However, the safety and comfort of our guests are our highest priority. If severe weather or unsafe conditions require a tour to be canceled, we will contact guests by text message, email, or Facebook Messenger at least one hour before the scheduled tour time. Guests affected by a cancellation due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will have the option to reschedule their tour for another available date.
